How is my car determined to be a “total loss”?
If the cost to repair your vehicle, plus its salvage value, equals or exceeds its actual cash value, it is deemed a total loss.
If I buy a new car on Sunday and my agent is not open to make the change, will my vehicle be covered?
Yes, the existing coverage on your current vehicle will apply to your new car for 30 days. However, you should always contact your insurance agent to transfer the coverage as soon as possible to insure you have adequate coverage.
If I drive my friends car, will I be covered if I am in an accident?
As long as your friend is a licensed driver and is operating the vehicle with your permission, they will be covered in the event of an accident.
